Why idle?
Schörl Air Filter allows 58.4% more airflow than stock filters, requiring engine adjustment to optimize fuel mix and performance.

Motorcycles:
Start engine and idle for 10 minutes at original RPM.

Carbureted: After 4-5 mins, RPM rises—turn idle screw to restore original setting (reduces fuel to match airflow).
Fuel-Injected: ECU auto-adjusts fuel during 10 mins; manually adjust throttle body idle screw if RPM stays high.

Cars:
Start engine, set AC fan to speed 2 / Auto AC.

Idle for 30 minutes—ECU recalibrates automatically.

Results:
Engine adapts to increased airflow, delivering fuel savings and emission reductions. Test drive after!

Why clean?
Schörl's reusable media lasts 100,000 km with simple maintenance—no oiling needed.

1. Prepare tub: Fill with clean water, add mild cloth washing liquid/powder until foamy.

2. Soak filter: Fully immerse Schörl filter for 30 minutes to loosen dirt.

3. Rinse thoroughly: Use clean running water until water runs clear (no visible dirt).

4. Air dry: Place indoors 6+ hours or overnight—never apply direct heat.

5. Reinstall: Once completely dry, fit back on vehicle.

Tip:
Clean every 10,000 km or when airflow drops. Always dry fully to maintain 99.4% dust efficiency.

YOU GET SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

All implied warranties, such as the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are subject to limitations on duration and remedies.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER?

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of your SCHÖRL OE Replacement Air Filter with the exceptions stated below.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER?

This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use or U) external causes such as improper washing, accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

HOW LONG DOES THE COVERAGE LAST?

This warranty lasts for 1 Lac kilometers or 1 year whichever is earlier from the date of purchase. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the Product and is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended if we repair or replace the Product.

WHAT WILL SCHÖRL DO?

We will repair any Product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. If repair is not possible, we will either replace your Product with a new Product of similar composition and price, or refund the full purchase price of your Product, at our sole discretion. There is no charge for inspection.

DON’Ts

1. DO NOT use brush to clean the dirt off of the filter.

2. DO NOT use the hair dryer/blow dryer directly on the filter.

3. DO NOT use high velocity/compressed air to dry the filter.

4. DO NOT use fingers/nails/any sort of object to remove dirt.

5. DO NOT use high pressure water/ water jet to clean the filter.

6. DO NOT apply any oil/dye after cleaning the filter.

7. DO NOT install wet filter on the vehicle.
